Vodafone Labasa soccer president Abinesh Kumar has withdrawn the Fiji FACT match-fixing allegation he laid against two of his former players.
Kumar alleged that Pita Bolatoga and Maciu Dunadamu were bribed to give away the game in the Fiji Bitter Fact final in May this year, where Labasa lost 1-0 to Navua.
Kumar said he had no choice and has informed Fiji FA officials about his stance.
But Fiji FA also started their own investigation since the allegation was very serious and their independent committee will soon give their final report.
Kumar said despite withdrawing the case, he is ready to face any disciplinary action.
Meanwhile Fiji FA President Doctor Samsud Dean Sahu Khan will comment on the matter later today.
