Each child is different and is not capable of achieving the same results.
This is the message that students of Labasa Sangam College are hoping will reach parents and guardians that watch their Kula Film Award entry titled "The Silent Cry" .
The film portrays a student’s struggle to meet her parents expectations to score high marks in order to secure a good job, to provide for her disabled brother and family.
Form six student Shilpa Lal who is also the Film Director, Producer and song writer, said parents do not realise that the added pressure can lead to a student not achieving the desired results.
There are a total of seventeen entries for this years Kula Film Festival Awards.
The winner will be picked on Saturday.
