Labasa Police are investigating a case of impersonation where a group of men allegedly acted as soldiers and forced a farmer to sign on a blank paper to transfer his piece of land last week.

The owner of the land who wished not to be named told Fijivillage News that he bought the piece of land however the paper work is still being processed.

He said the group of men allegedly entered his premises late at night last week and told him that he cannot buy the piece of land.

They allegedly threatened him and forcefully made him sign on a blank piece of paper.

The owner reported the matter to police and police are still hunting for these suspects.
