Labasa Police are hunting for a 30-year-old prisoner who escaped from Labasa Magistrates court this morning.
Satereki Taraka charged with assault appeared before magistrate Anare Tuilevuka and was ordered to be taken for psychiatric examination when he escaped.
Police are appealing members of the public for assistance.
