The Vodafone Labasa soccer team will have to win and win well in their New World National Soccer League match against Lautoka this afternoon to keep them in title contention.

Both Labasa and Vodafone Ba were tied with 18 points after playing 8 games, but after Ba's 3-1 win against Viva Rewa at home yesterday, Lautoka will have to do just as well.

Today's game is crucial for Labasa as a win will keep their chances alive in retaining the Super 6 title.

Meanwhile, Ba President Rishi Kumar has also confirmed that his team will be travelling to Labasa to meet them in the last of the Super 6 matches.

Kumar had earlier written a letter to Fiji FA asking them to shift the game to another venue because of the safety of their players, after the Viva Rewa players were verbally abused by Labasa soccer fans two weeks ago at Subrail Park.

The Labasa/Lautoka match kicks off at 1pm today at Churchill Park in Lautoka.
