The Vodafone Labasa Soccer Team Officials are keeping their fingers crossed that New Zealand's Waitakere United will release their top striker for next weekend's Fiji Bitter Fact.

Roy Krishna is in the country to attend his sister's wedding and since he's a contracted player in New Zealand, he is eligible to play for the Babasiga Lions from the opening day and will not have to wait till the 1st June when the new Transfer clearance Window opens.

Labasa Team Secretary Imraan Ali said they have written to Fiji FA and Waitakere United for his ITC and they hope to get it before the tournament starts on Thursday.

Krishna helped Waitakere United win the New Zealand Football Championship title this season and could also become the first ever Fijian footballer to play in the Winter League for the Wellington Phoenix.
