The Labasa soccer team is highly likely to be crowned the National Soccer League champions this season.

The Babasiga Lions on 18 points are two points clear of second placed Lautoka and three clear of third placed Ba on 15.

Labasa have two more remaining games against Suva and Navua and just need a win in one of the matches to clinch the title.

Meanwhile, Ba who also have two games left will be hoping that Labasa lose one of the remaining two matches so that they have a chance to retain their league title. The Men in Black suffered one of the worst defeats this season going down to Suva 2-4 and also losing their first home match since 2003.

Lautoka which is in second place have no chance of winning the title as they have only one match in hand.
