The Vodafone Labasa side has ended the Vodafone Ba's side 14 year reign after the hosts beat Ba by 1 goal to nil.
Labasa's lone goal came in the second half from Pita Baleitoga.
Meanwhile, Ba soccer President Rishi Kumar has aired his grievances in the manner in which the game was officiated.
To add to Ba's grievances Malakai Kenahewe was given a red card for an infringement.
The return match between Ba and Labasa will be played on April 6th at Ba's Govind Park.
