Labasa College U17 Aims Tier 1 Spot
The side faced financial difficulties during the playoffs and also in the quarterfinals and semifinals, playing away from home.
This is also the first time that they have advanced into the final of the Tier 2 competition and does not want to travel back home without the trophy in the bag.
Labasa College Under-17 captain, Anare Raubeci said his boys know the tough task that is ahead of them now.
The Vanua Levu based school, Labasa College will meet Nabua Secondary in the Tier 2 finals at 10:30am tomorrow at the Buckhurst grounds.
Meanwhile, the Coke Zero Deans Tier 1 finals between RKS/Lelean kicks off at 3:20pm tomorrow, and you can catch a live commentary of the match on our sister station Viti FM.
The Tier 2 finals between Natabua/RSMS will kick off at 2pm.
Gates at the National Stadium open at 7:30am with the first match in the Tier 1 Under-14 grade at 8:30am at the National Stadium while the Tier 2 Under-15 grade will be held at Buckhurst Park.
