Police are still trying to establish the identity of the man whose body was found in Labasa town earlier this morning.
According to Assistant Police Spokesperson Josaia Weicavu, the body was found along Nasekula Road at 5am today and police believe that the man is in his early twenties.
The body was found without a missing left hand and the man's left leg was found 50 meters away from the body, a pair of flip flops was found 1 kilometer away near Korowiri, Labasa.
The body is now kept at the Labasa mortuary.
Meanwhile, Divisional Crime Officer ASP Luke Rawalai said they will wait for an identity to be established before a post mortem is conducted.
