In order to apprehend traffic offenders, the Land Transport Authority will soon install Automated Red Light and Speed Cameras.
LTA spokesperson, Doreen Narayan said the infrastructure should be ready for demonstration by end of October this year after which the implementation process will start.
Last Sunday in a statement, it was stated that new LTA CEO Naisa Tuinaceva, will be responsible for the introduction of the Automated Red Light.
Meanwhile, Narayan confirms Tuinaceva will also introduce Demerit Point System for Drivers Licenses however this project should also be ready for public knowledge by end of next month.
