The Land Transport Authority will soon start a night operation to crackdown on those drivers who are driving defective vehicles during night time.
LTA Spokesperson, Eroni Volavola said many drivers have been seen in vehicles which are not fit to be on the road and during the crackdown, all the vehicles with defects will be impounded.
Fijivillage News has also witnessed some drivers driving defective vehicles at night. For example vehicles with only one headlight, excessive smoke coming out of the muffler, vehicles with no breaks and traffigater lights and vehicles with no rear vision mirrors.
