To ensure your safety, the Land Transport Authority (LTA) will now be conducting more checks on buses as they are seriously concerned about the increasing number of bus fires.
LTA Spokesperson Eroni Volavola said they will not reveal their check schedules but they will keep monitoring the bus companies who mostly have problems.
So bus owners and drivers, get ready.
In relation to this week’s bus fire in Lautoka and Labasa, Volavola said they will wait for the investigation report before making any comments.
