The Fiji Taxi Union blames the Land Transport Authority for approving taxi permits without proper examinations.
Taxi Union President, Rishi Ram's comment came after seven taxis were impounded in Sigatoka yesterday after allegations that they were operating under forged taxi permits.
Meanwhile, LTA's Chief Executive Officer Abraham Simson said that Police are investigating the matter.
