A team of officers from the Land Transport Authority are at the Nasese Bus garage to inspect the bus which caught fire on Saturday afternoon.

Divisional Manager Central/Eastern, Uday Singh has confirmed that a team has been assigned to investigate the matter before a report is submitted to the Chief Executive Officer.

According to Singh they are also liaising with the Korovou Police who attended to the scene to get a full report.

The bus has been towed back to the Company garage.

Two students of Queen Victoria Secondary School sustained injuries on Saturday afternoon after they broke glass window and jumped out off the bus.

The bus was transporting students from National Stadium to the school when the engine caught fire.
