Police are investigating a LTA officer after he was caught on camera allegedly receiving a bribe from a motorist.
Sigatoka Police confirmed this saying they are investigating the matter, and higher authorities have been alerted regarding the incident.
Charges are expected to be laid soon.
Meanwhile a 21 year old man was arrested at the Labasa Market yesterday afternoon for allegedly selling dried leaves believed to be marijuana.
Assistant Police Spokesperson Sergeant Atunaisa Sokomuri confirmed police received information from members of the public, upon which they went and apprehended the 21yr old farmer.
The leaves have been sent to the Koronivia Research Station for analysis.
