Motor vehicles illegally operating as Public Service Vehicles operators are told to stop or feel the full brunt of the law.

This is the warning given by the Land Transport Authority.

The LTA said for the month of June for the Central/Eastern Division, 225 vehicles have been seized, 371 defect orders have been issued to PSVs and 611 to other classes of vehicles and a total of 371 other bookings have also made.

LTA Road Safety Officers Team Leader, Samisoni Ravudi said they will be out on the roads in numbers to create the necessary awareness work and drivers who flee from their checkpoints and those with attitude problems will be dealt with accordingly.
