Motorists and driving license holders be ready to dig dipper in your pockets from next year, as the Land Transport Authority has decided to increase all its regulated fees from next year.
LTA CEO, Naisa Tuinaceva said in line with Government's decision to increase VAT from 12.5% to 15%, the public is hereby advised to expect an increase in all LTA regulated fees from next year.
Some of the fees include, Driver License Update Renewal, Road Levy Fee, Transfer of Ownership, For driver license/PSV, Road route permit, for hire permit/transfer, Inspection of Motor Vehicle, Taxi Permit - Transfer --Re Issue/Amendment, To Register a Driving School New/Renewal, Undergo test to drive a motor vehicle, register motor vehicle, application for learner's permit.
