The Land Transport Authority has extended its illegal operation campaign for another month.

Media Liaison Officer Doreen Narayan said the campaign was supposed to end last week however it has been extended for another month to ensure maximum effectiveness of the joint operation in all three regions.

Meanwhile, Narayan said so far a total of 333 vehicles have been seized who were operating illegally and 19 vehicle registrations have been suspended.

She also said a total of 3,844 vehicles have been booked and while 90 finals warnings have been issued to drivers, 4 drivers have lost their license and 39 licenses have been cancelled.

LTA has also issued 748 defect orders.
