LTA's Media Liaison Officer Ratu Eroni Volavola said after the success of their month long campaign aimed at reducing the number of vehicles that are emitting hazardous black smoke, drivers should not be complacent, because they will be out on the roads again at any time.
Volavola said 450 drivers have been booked within the Central and Eastern Division, while as of Tuesday 180 were booked from the Western Division.
Volavola added they are also happy with drivers change of attitude to ensure children under the age of 8 are properly secured whilst travelling in vehicles.
He said they have noted although most do not have the proper child safety seat, drivers have taken their advice to ensure children are safely seated at the back with an adult.
