The Transport Ministry has forwarded the internal audit report which led to CEO Etuate Koroi being sent on leave, to independent assessors.

Ministry Spokesperson Sainiana Waqainabete while refusing to reveal more into the matter said they will comment after the independent assessor complete their assessment as it will be unfair to pre-empt the investigations.

She added that findings of the independent assessors will be made public once they are completed.

Meanwhile, acting LTA CEO Aseri Radrodro refused to comment directing all questions to the Transport Ministry.

It has been confirmed that the audit, which was ordered by the Transport Ministry into the entire operations of the LTA included the Road Tax collection, the Licensing Fees for all transports and LTA's other revenue measures and the utilization of these funds.
