The Land Transport Authority and the Financial Intelligence Unit have signed an agreement which will allow both organisations to share information and apprehend criminals.
Financial Intelligence Unit Director, Razim Buksh said the addition of LTA into FIU intelligence network would greatly improve their intelligence and would allow them to conduct more comprehensive profiling on individuals or parties under investigation for serious crimes.
Buksh added that the LTA in return would get help to crack down on traffic offenders.
