The Land Transport Authority CEO Etuate Koroi has been sent on leave pending investigations into the LTA by the Ministry of Transport.
Ministry Spokesperson Sainiana Waqainabete confirms Koroi has sent on leave to ensure transparency within the process as they try and verify the findings of an internal audit report.
The Ministry of Transport has refused to reveal the details of the findings of the internal audit report.
The findings are expected to be made public once the verification process has been completed.
