Lelean Memorial School is the new Triple ‘N’ Zone champion in the boys division while Adi Cakobau School has again defended their girls title.

Lelean won with 18 gold, 16 silver and 10 bronze, Sila Central College finished at second place with 9 gold, 10 silver and 7 bronze while William Cross College secured third place with 5 gold, 4 silver and 5 bronze.

Adi Cakobau School has defended the girls division title with 35 gold, 16 silver and 10 bronze, Sila Central College is second with 2 gold, 8 silver and 12 bronze while Rewa Secondary School is third with 2 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze.

Meanwhile, the blue ribbon event was won by Samisoni Bai of Sila Central College with the time of 11.15 seconds while Elenoa Sailosi of ACS scooped the blue ribbon for the girls division with the time of 12.75 seconds.

Sailosi said she still has a lot of work to do despite winning three gold medals today.


Bai and Sailosi also won their 200 metres finals.

Sailosi broke Makelesi Bulikiobo's 200 metres record with the new time of 25.50 seconds.

Bulikiobo's time of 25.78 seconds was set back in 1998.

The Suva Zone Two will be held tomorrow at the ANZ Stadium.
