Another Fijian winger will be in action in the opening leg of the IRB 7s series this weekend in the Australia 7s team.

Tevita Kuridrani impressed selectors with performances for club side Queensland University in the Byron Bay and Gold Coast tournaments throughout 2010.

Standing at 196cm and weighing over 100kg, Kuridrani will no doubt add a physical edge to the youthful Australian Sevens squad named by coach Michael O'Connor for the Dubai and George legs of the HSBC Sevens World Series.

The 20 year old is the cousin of Waratahs winger, Ratu Nasiganiyavi.

Australia is in Pool C with South Africa, Scotland and Russia.

Fiji is in Pool D with Portugal, France and England.

They will start their 2010 Dubai 7s campaign with Portugal on Friday at 6.20pm.
