Vodafone Fiji 7s coach Ben Ryan says Semi Kunatani should not have any problems with his fitness.
Kunatani joined the team earlier this afternoon.
Ryan is hoping Kunatani has been following his 7s training program.
Ryan adds that preparations for the next two legs is going well.
The final 14 players that will be going to Wellington will be announced at midday on Friday.
Fiji is pooled with Japan, Argentina and Wales.
The team will leave for New Zealand next Tuesday while the Wellington 7s will be held next Saturday and Sunday.
New Zealand is the defending champion.
