The Suva High Court has today refused an application for leave to appeal by Former Nasinu Mayor Rajeshwar Kumar for a judicial review into the Interim Local Government Minister's action in removing him from office.
In her judgment today, Justice Joclyen Scutt while refusing the leave also stressed that Kumar has liberty to apply for a judicial review if the Minister has not concluded an inquiry in respect of the questions of the applicants to dismissal within the next six months.
Kumar's Lawyer, Rajendra Chaudhry said the matter has not come to an end and they will wait for the Ministers reply.
