Fiji’s long distance runner Bimlesh Kumar has won his third medal at the Oceania Masters Championship in Australia after he settled for silver in the 1500 metres yesterday.

The 38-year-old earlier settled for silver in the 8km cross country event and a bronze medal in the 5000 metres.

Bimlesh Kumar paid $5,000 from his own pocket for the trip and the last time he represented Fiji was at the Pacific Mini Games in 2001.
