Navua soccer midfielder Salesh Kumar could become the second player from Fiji to play in the FIFA Club World Cup.

Kumar plays for Auckland City who is now through to the 2009 O-League final.

Auckland City defeated Waitakere United 3-1 yesterday in a highly-charged match that included 10 cards.

Auckland finished three points clear of Waitakere United and will now meet Group B winner Koloale FC of Solomons in a home and away final, with the winner set to represent Oceania at the FIFA Club World Cup in the United Arab Emirates.

Labasa's Roy Krishna was the first ever player from Fiji to play at such a high level competition.

He also scored the lone goal for Waitakere yesterday and is now on the verge of signing a contract with the Wellington Phoenix to play in the A-League.
