Fiji soccer sensation, Roy Krishna will not be celebrating Christmas at home but is heading to Australia today with his Wellington Phoenix side for an A-League fixture tomorrow.
The Phoenix will play Adelaide United tomorrow.
Assistant coach Chris Greenacre says they will not change from their routines, even for the special day.
He says it will just be their usual pre match dinners and pre evening meal and then probably going over some of the footage that they have prepared for the players.
He says they are leaving their families behind for Christmas but it’s part of the job in a professional environment and if that's what it takes to try and get a result, so be it.
Krishna will stay with the Phoenix across the Tasman for their New Year's Eve match against Central Coast.
