The dream of becoming a professional soccer player is now a reality for Fiji born star striker Roy Krishna.

This comes after the 26-year-old from Siberia, Labasa, signed a two year contract with the Wellington Phoenix.

Krishna has been at the club since January as an injury replacement and he is delighted that head coach Ernie Merrick thinks enough of him to give him a new deal.

Krishna was in top form last weekend scoring a goal and setting up their second as Wellington Phoenix drew 2-all with Melbourne Hearts in the A-League competition.
