Wellington Phoenix’s Roy Krishna kicked an incredible goal in the team’s match‑up with Melbourne Victory, slotting the first goal of the game from a near‑impossible angle.

The teams were stranded on nil‑all until the 18th minute when Krishna gained control of the ball moving forward.

As Victory's defense pushed him to the edge of the field it looked like he had missed his chance, but he took his chances and went for the shot regardless.

Amazingly, not only did he manage to kick with perfect aim on a shot that had no margin for error, but he also wound the ball past two Victory players in his way.

Wellington won the match 2‑0.
