Fiji’s Roy Krishna was named the man of the match last night when he scored a spectacular goal and setup another as his Wellington Phoenix side defeated Adelaide United 4‑2 in the A‑League competition.
Phoenix were down 1-0 when Krishna burst after a long cross, muscled off a defender and buried his shot past the goalkeeper to make it 1‑1 in the fourth minute.
Krishna also had a big hand in Phoenix’s second goal.
Meanwhile, Roy Krishna has played three games in six days in three different countries.
He also scored a goal for the Fiji soccer team against Vanuatu a few days ago in Port Villa.
