Fijian striker, Roy Krishna has been named the A-League’s player of the week after his Phoenix Wellington team drew 2-all with Melbourne Heart on Sunday.
In just his second start, Krishna scored Wellington’s first goal after six minutes and featured in their second when he cut a dangerous ball across goal from the by-line for his teammate.
With only four games left before playoffs, Phoenix sit eighth overall, two places and three points off sixth-placed Adelaide United.
