Labasa’s wonder boy Roy Krishna is expected to feature for the Babasiga Lions in the Inkk Mobile Battle of Giants soccer tournament next week.

Labasa Soccer President Rayaz Khan said they are having final negotiations with Krishna and hopes are high that he will play in front of his home fans.

Rayaz added that Krishna is expected to arrive in the country later today or tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Fiji Football Association CEO Bob Kumar confirmed that they have sent the application for Krishna’s release to his New Zealand club Waitakere United.

Labasa won the BOG title once and that was in 1997.

Labasa will take on Navua at 5.15pm next Saturday at Subrail Park in its first pool match.
