Fiji soccer team striker Roy Krishna could slip the A-League net and end up in the MLS in USA.

Krishna has generated a buzz for his club Waitakere United, emphasized by the pocket rocket hitting double in a 5-0 win over a gallant Team Wellington in the New Zealand Football Championship semis ahead of Waitakere's grandfinal with Auckland City this weekend.

The 21-year-old Krishna has scored 11 times in 13 games this season in what his coach has described as the strikers's breakthrough year.

It is understood that Krishna after this weekend's final may sign with New Zealand's only A-League club Wellington Phoenix.

The chairman of Waitakere United Rex Dawkins who is handling all of Krishna's enquiries said the Phoenix are interested but if the A-League don't move quickly, he could end up in the MLS or further abroad.
