Fiji soccer captain Roy Krishna together with his club Wellington Phoenix, have arranged for clothing and donations for the people that have been affected by Tropical Cyclone Winston.
The 28‑year‑old Krishna anxiously watched news reports and kept tabs on social media as the cyclone, packing winds hitting 325km/h, hit the country.
Krishna says he is proud to be a Fijian and it's good to see people are helping the nation.
He adds Phoenix is his second family and seeing them helping him is an honour and he is hopeful this will put smiles on the kids faces.
