Fijian international loose forward Sisa Koyamaibole has been fired by French club Union Bordeaux-Bègles for not appearing at a disciplinary hearing.

The former Toulon and Sale Sharks number eight was handed a 12-week ban for biting London Irish captain Declan Dana-her during their Amlin Challenge Cup clash.

The French club did not appreciate Koyamaibole’s failure to appear before the disciplinary commission and have terminated his contract.

The 32-year-old Fijian played just four games for UBB.
