Interim Minister for Transport Manu Korovulavula has today defended his decision to terminate Land Transport Authority Chief Executive Officer Abraham Simpson.

At a press conference this afternoon, Korovulavula revealed that Simpson was removed following several allegations of mis-management, exorbitant expenses, nepotism and unjustified increments in pay packets for employee's costing the LTA millions of dollars.

Korovulavula also revealed that the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption's investigations also highlighted these concerns.
