West Tigers wing Marika Koroibete will give West Tigers coach Mick Potter some welcome selection headaches in next year's NRL.

Meanwhile the player who hails from Namosi has also shown former Kangaroo Akuila Uate that he will be far from the only threat the Kangaroos will face in this weekend's Rugby League World Cup semifinal.

Koroibete played a starring role in Fiji's 22-6 win over Samoa, with a run of 220 metres from 19 runs, made two line breaks and seven tackle breaks.

Kangaroos captain Cameron Smith has already stressed that they will pressure the Bati backline with high kicks to pressure Koroibete, Kevin Naiqama and Akuila Uate.

The semifinal clash between the Kangaroos and the Vodafone Fiji Bati kicks off at 4.30am this Sunday while the Kiwis takes on England in the first semis at 2am.
