Koroibete seals Rebels victory with 70th minute try in 50th cap

Marika Koroibete sealed the Melbourne Rebels 29-10 win over the Waratahs with a 77th minute try in their Super Rugby Australia match last night.

This is the Rebels first win in Super Rugby Australia.

Last night’s match was also Marika Koroibete’s 50th match for the Melbourne Rebels.

Matt Toomua who is in a fight with James O’Connor and Noah Lolesio to wear the Wallabies No.10 jersey, bagged 19 points and was a threat for the Rebels against the inexperienced Waratahs.

Toomua made two conversions and kicked five penalties. Western Force will face the Brumbies at 9.15 tonight.
