Fiji‑born Melbourne Storm wing Marika Koroibete is reportedly the Australian Rugby Union's latest target for a code switch with the prolific try‑scorer linked with a cross town move to the Rebels.

Australian media are speculating the 23‑year‑old who has scored 38 tries in 55 NRL games is on the Australian Rugby Union's radar.

Koroibete originally played rugby in Fiji and appeals as a finisher though defensive inadequacies have been a feature of his game throughout a NRL career that started with the Wests Tigers in 2012.

He headed to Melbourne in 2014 and last season racked up 16 tries in 23 matches.

Meanwhile Koroibete will start for the Melbourne Storm when they meet the Warriors at 9 tonight.
