Fijian Teachers Association General Secretary, Tevita Koroi has this morning clarified why letters were sent to the management and teachers of Nasinu Secondary School, of which he is the Principal.

Koroi has been suspended by the Education Ministry for writing these letters.

Education Ministry.
Our reporters confirm that Koroi and 20 teachers from Nasinu Secondary were gathered at the Nasinu Secondary School compound after walking off their jobs.
17 teachers remain at the Nasinu Secondary and most of the classes are going ahead at this stage.
