The return of a seasonal Sevens campaigner Osea Kolinisau in the Digicel Fiji Sevens team this weekend in Gold Coast will provide a platform that they missed in some of the tournament this year.
Kolinisau only took part in the Hong Kong and Australia Sevens where he broke his jaw, but a well known IRB Sevens broadcaster, Nigel Smith, believes he will bring a lot of changes into the Fiji team.
Fiji’s assistant coach Eddy Waqa also echoed the same sentiment that Kolinisau is one of those senior players in the team that will have to lead in order to end their losing streak in the circuit.
The Fiji Sevens team’s first match at the Australia Sevens will be against Niue at 5.25pm this Friday.
Fiji will play Kenya at 8.31pm and the final pool match will be against New Zealand at 12.14am on Saturday.
