“I will have to work even harder this year.”

Those are the words of Vodafone Fiji 7s player Osea Kolinisau when he was asked by Fijivillage on what it means for him when he received the ‘Player of the Year Award for Men’s 7s’ at the Fiji Rugby Awards last night.

Kolinisau says he did not expect to win the award as he was up against some really tough competition.

He adds that he plans to start the year with setting some new goals with the new coach as he is still trying to fight his way into the squad.

Meanwhile, Sevens Maestro and former Fiji 7s National and Coach Waisale Serevi received the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ at the award ceremony last night.

Serevi started his speech after the award with a well-known bible verse taken from Phillipines 4:13.
