Osea Kolinisau has been named the captain of the Digicel Fiji 7s team in this week’s Gold Coast 7s.
Speaking from Gold Coast this morning, head coach Ben Ryan said Kolinisau has a lot of experience and is also a great leader.
Kolinisau will be assisted by Manueli Laqai and Benito Eremasi.
Ryan also shared how other teams reacted when they saw him with the Fiji 7s side and not England.
The team will have their recovery session this morning and will head to Skilled Park.
Meanwhile, the Gold Coast 7s kicks off at 12.30pm Saturday and Fiji’s first pool match is against Canada at 1.58pm.
Fiji’s second match is against Portugal at 5.14pm and the last pool match will be against Wales at 9.24pm.
The Cup quarterfinals start at 1.58pm on Sunday, Cup semis kick off at 5.58pm and the Cup final will be played at 9.04pm.
