There is a need to make Fiji a knowledge based society and if 10% of Fiji's children do not attend school then there is a need for some action.
Those were the words of National Council for Building a Better Fiji (NCBBF) member Bhuwan Dutt who was addressing more than 40 people at Public Outreach Forum at Rishikul Sanatan College last night.
Dutt said without education there would be more problems and there is a need for programmes for quality education for all, which the Draft Charter provides.
Also at Rishikul, NCBBF member Ratu Josateki Nawalowalo also lashed out at the provincial councils for becoming too politicized.
Meanwhile, NCBBF member Loraine Tevi said there has been lot of debate on having a common name however she believes that there will be end to racism through common identity.
