New Zealand coach Stephen Kearney believes New Zealand can pull off another surprise result against Australia in the World Cup final at Old Trafford tomorrow.

The Kiwis shocked the Kangaroos, who have lifted the trophy nine times, with a 34-20 win in Brisbane in 2008.

Kearney said they start as underdogs, but the players are confident that, if they can bring their best performance, they have great opportunity."

New Zealand’s Roger Tuivasa-Sheck and Australia’s Billy Slater both start.

The final is at 3.30am tomorrow.
