Kiwis coach Stephen Kearney has criticised Australia's decision to select Fiji‑born wing Semi Radradra for the Anzac test.

Kearney said he would be a little bit disappointed if he was born in Australia and played in one of those positions and not get picked.

He said it would have been great to see Radradra play for Fiji.

Radradra will forfeit the right to play for Fiji at next year's Rugby League World Cup, regardless of whether he makes the Kangaroos squad.

Radradra, who has scored 53 tries in 57 games for the Parramatta Eels since his 2013 debut, will make his Australian debut in next Friday's clash in Newcastle.

Meanwhile, the Eels will meet the Bulldogs at 9.50pm Friday.
