Ministry of Health Permanent Secretary, Doctor Lepani Waqatakirewa has confirmed that he has not received businessman, Ballu Khan's medical report.
The medical check-up was conducted by an independent Doctor yesterday, as Khan has been in hospital since November 3rd.
Dr Waqatakirewa said after looking at the report he will discuss it with the doctors who have been assigned to look after Ballu Khan since he was admitted to the CWM hospital.
He added that the decision on whether to allow Khan to be evacuated overseas for medical treatment will not be made by the independent Doctors who examined him yesterday as the Health Ministry will only take into account the reports from the doctors who have been seeing him on a daily basis.
Waqatakirewa confirms that the decision on whether they will allow Khan to get overseas medical treatment will be made known to Khan's lawyer Tevita Fa later this afternoon.
